To each their own and not knocking your personal purchase and opinion, but the new 13 Pro Max is way beyond the pixel maybe not everything in cameras, but still brilliant and even better than the 11 Pro series ever was. I've had to bust out the old Pro Max a few times just to get little extra bits of data that didn't carry over in the transfer, and I'll say this: after adjusting to the 120Hz sceen, the iPhones look like shit.Īt this point, I've decided that the iOS software, maybe one of the best out there, but their device have turned into nothing but a waste of your money. The cameras are beyond *absolutely phenomenal*, and what can I say, the 120Hz refresh makes the screen look like its made out of liquid compared to the 60Hz of the ProMax. Our contract ended just a few months ago, and this time we decided to go with the Google Pixel 6 Pro.
The only upside to it, was over the two years I has the Pro Max, I was overall very pleased with the performance of the phone, Handled CPU heavy gaming very well, without getting worryingly warm and just never had any other major issue with performance. Best part, I'd be stuck with it for two years until the contract was up.

I had begun to notice the camera didn't perform nearly as well as that of my 6S+, and having an extra 30 grams of weight, plus a new Otterbox, made the phone very heavy and clunky. Loved it for about a week, then the love just started degrading. When it cam time for an upgrade, we decided, "hey we'll get the best of the best in their lineup," which at the time was the 11 ProMax. Took absolutely amazing photos and served me well for the better part of three years. That's one of the reasons my wife and I ditched Apple.
